Dinosaur Experiences Australia (DEA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Karen Hanna Miller as its new Program Manager, effective 24February2025. With a respected and accomplished career in media, partnerships, content creation and marketing, Karen is known for successfully delivering outstanding and original creative projects across the tourism, events and media industries.
Karen brings a wealth of experience in the tourism and cultural heritage sectors, with strong editorial judgement, creative acumen and a proven track record in building collaborative networks. Her media, broadcast and digital content development expertise will be instrumental in enhancing DEA’s mission to promote dinosaur-related tourism and educational experiences across the region.
Karen is poised to lead this unique paleo-based tourism collective into an exciting new chapter of growth and engagement. She has long been a champion of Outback Queensland and comes to DEA with extensive governance experience including Board roles at Tourism Events Queensland (TEQ), Outback Queensland Tourism Association (OQTA), St Joseph’s Nudgee College and the Queensland Music Festival.

In her new role, Karen will drive Dinosaur Experiences Australia’s growth aligning immersive and fun experiences with high-value-travellers who love science, dinosaurs/palaeontology and possess a curiosity to learn more. Her immediate priorities include product development, marketing partnerships, and distribution programs, with a focus on creating dynamic experiences that celebrate the region’s unique paleontological heritage.
